Proud to be partnering with BioeconomyVentures

BioeconomyVentures is an EU funded project that aims to help bio based startups and spinoffs access finance and the wider bio ecosystem.

The project supports startups and spinoffs in many ways including hosting matchmaking, pitching and networking events.

World Bio Markets is proud to be hosting two of these workshops, in partnership with Food Valley and F6S, at this year’s event.

I've been attending for many years and it's great that World Bio Markets is back. The event provides an excellent platform to tell the industry about developments at Avantium, to learn about advancements at other companies and to meet with potential partners and customers."

Tom van Aken, Chief Executive Officer, Avantium NV

A successful return

After two years away, World Bio Markets returned in 2022 in Barcelona to the delight of the international community.

The energy in the room was incredible as over 200 senior decision makers from across the bioeconomy value chain came together to drive the growth of the sector through unity and collaboration.

WBM is a high-quality event and a great opportunity for us to meet existing and new partners from across the bio-material and bio-tech value chain. We intend to return in future years.
